#72 Thirsty Thursday

Welcome. It's that time again to take care of big girl business. I will still write. I enjoy the time I spend here.

I received my new books today, Lisa's Sober Blog Book 3! The project is finished. I have been putting the books out based on the blog and events that happened here. The final book in the set is about me. I tell my alcoholic story in a nutshell. The books are pretty. They are entertaining. I stopped to read book 3 as soon as it got here. I am a fast reader.

The Lisa's Sober Blog Books are not my first writing dream. I have long wanted to tell my story more in depth of what it was like to be an adopted Native child in a Caucasian family. How it affected my life in so many ways. Not negative, don't get me wrong. When I was little, I remember that there was a lot of fun to be had. It's interesting that these stories are being told now by others who have lived like this. I feel better somehow that I am not the only one.

It just goes to show that everyone has a story. I happen to care about mine. No, I do not live in the past. I get all of my material there. I always knew that if I lived then I would write. I wrote a funny short story which has been lost when I was in grade four or five. I am not like an award-winning Pulitzer prize kind of writer at the moment. I am a simple writer. I take, process and decide what I will share now and what will go into the vault until later days.

Where will I go from here? Let me tell you how I celebrated my new book. I am living the dream. I am doing the usual things I do on a day like today.
